Job Title: Maintenance Welder
Job Description
The Maintenance Welder performs repairs and maintenance on vehicles, floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, and fabrication. They will be responsible for cutting and welding as well as performing maintenance on vehicles. The role requires proficiency in welding on both steel and aluminum.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, floors, bodies, packing blades, and rails.
Carry out fabrication tasks as needed.
Cut and weld various materials, including steel and aluminum.
Conduct maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
Read and interpret blueprints to complete welding tasks accurately.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding.
Experience with welding either steel or aluminum.
Knowledge of fabrication techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Understanding of hydraulics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
TIG welding experience.
Maintenance experience.
Experience with grinding, stick welding, sheet metal, and carbon steel.

Work Environment
The work schedule is primarily on the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 12 AM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and several breaks throughout the day. There are no 3rd shift positions available. Occasionally, the 2nd shift may start at 3 PM and end at 1 AM. Employees can expect to work 50-55 hours per week, typically in 10-hour shifts.
