Job Title: Laser Operator
Job Description
A steel manufacturing and fabrication facility is looking to hire laser operators for their off shifts.
Job duties:
• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of machines to perform diversified operations on varying material. Usually, close tolerance work requiring a high degree of skill. Machine types include laser tables.
• Select speeds and feeds, determine operational sequences and tooling arrangements
• Diagnose and rectify tooling problems and machine malfunctions
• Set up machines for operation by others
• Prepare orders by processing requests and work orders; pulling materials; packaging and staging orders for delivery
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work environment
• Complete work orders by entering required information
Shifts:
**2nd shift: 1:30pm - 10pm M-F
