Menzies Aviation Fuel Farm Mechanic - $25/hr in Kansas City, Missouri

Main accountabilities include:Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Diagnose problems using test equipment, statistics, equipment history, manufacturer specs, industryrelated standards and blueprints.• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain related components such as pumps, valves, vessels, hydrant pits,gauges, switches, motors, lights, heaters, meters, hoses, etc.• Follow company and departmental safety policies and procedures.• Maintain records relating to maintenance.• Support Gauger position as necessary.• Comply with the station’s attendance policy.• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience• Must be at least 18 years of age.• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/ortraining; or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests, including a drug test.• Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously.• Must be able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English proficiently.• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,common fractions, and decimals.• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situationswhere only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished inwritten, oral, diagram, or schedule form.• Must have a current driver’s license with no violations over the past 5 years.• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays.• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals.• Must be able to meet and maintain the security level required for this position.• Work is done primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, work isprimarily outdoors.• Reliability, our customer, and your fellow employees rely on you.
