WHO WE ARE

The Hallmark Omnichannel Engineering team is the organization within Hallmark that is responsible for:

  • Building Technology solutions for business portfolios from Order Management, Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Inventory, Finance and more.

  • Building, testing, and supporting a blend of internally developed and 3rd party software for Hallmark core processes.

As a member of Hallmark Omnichannel Engineering team, you will partner with high functioning, high energy teams of cross-functional disciplines to deliver critical capabilities in Hallmark Order Management and Fulfillment areas.

WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

As a Software Engineer on the Hallmark Omnichannel Engineering team, you will be responsible for the analysis, development, quality assurance, implementation and support of Order Management and Fulfillment related solutions using Manhattan Associates SaaS products.

This role involves:

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to implement Omnichannel solutions according to client specifications.

  • Developing customizations and integrations to enhance the functionality of Manhattan Associates SaaS products.

  • Providing technical support for Manhattan Associates SaaS products, resolving issues in a timely manner.

  • Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Conducting system testing and validation to ensure the quality and integrity of the solutions.

  • Preparing technical documentation, including system designs, deployment plans, and user guides.

  • Staying up to date with the latest Manhattan Associates SaaS product features and industry best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional work experience

  • At least 4 years of IT support experience using SaaS Order Management and Fulfillment platforms like Manhattan Associates products

  • At least 4 years of experience working with Omnichannel Retail Technologies and E-commerce domains

  • At least 4+ years of experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development and quality assurance

  • At least 4+ years of experience working with SQL Server 2008 or higher and reporting tools like Cognos

  • Experience in programming languages tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Golang, Python, Java, DotNet, or JavaScript), development tools (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio Code), build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle), and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience working with end-to-end IT software systems and solution delivery from idea conception, design, development, and transition into production operations and maintenance

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies

  • Experience working in Omnichannel technology solutions for a consumer-facing retailer and/or CPG company

  • Experience with application design, development, and execution

  • Experience working with API Frameworks

  • Experience working with Jira, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, Visual Studio Team Services, Octopus Deploy, etc.

  • Experience working with Version Control such as GIT, Bitbucket, etc.

  • Experience working with Cloud Hosting platforms such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure

  • Experience working with Identity and Access Management Tools

  • Experience working with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools.

  • Experience working in an IT support environment with technical experience of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices. This includes knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), software design patterns, and agile development processes

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

  • This position is hybrid, working onsite at headquarters in Kansas City, MO as needed.

  • This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
