Eurofins IT Support Coordinator in Katowice, Poland

You will coordinate work of IT experts (BAs, software developers, support specialists) to serve business units in the assigned geographical region. The IT Support Coordinator’s job is to ensure that the provided IT solutions meet the requirements of the business units.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Manage the IT Solutions L1-L3 support team (7 FTE) and actively participate in handling business requests and coordinating project progress.

  • Coordinate teamwork, supervise team members and ensure effective handling of tickets and requests.

  • Properly prioritize tasks that will result in the best possible service to the business.

  • Accept requests, determine service start time, and actively assist the team in resolving issues.

  • Collaborate with other teams to increase the effectiveness of agile practices in the organization.

  • Provide daily feedback and formal feedback as part of the annual performance review process to identify and develop talent.

  • Set and monitor goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize team speed and effectiveness.

  • Timely reporting of key performance indicators to business and regional management.

Education Background:

  • Educational background Bachelor level IT or Engineering.      

Experience:       

  • More than 3 years of experience in Support Team Management (5 FTE min).

  • Experience in direct cooperation with business in Support Service.

  • Experience in maximizing delivered value by close cooperation with the business – internal customer-oriented person. 

  • Experience in ERP like software Support Service in a mid-size company.

  • Experience aligning IT with business initiatives and IT initiatives improving cooperation and team performance.

Languages requirement:

  • Fluent English is a must.
