Overview of position:

You will work both independently and as part of a group of Agile Scrum teams across the EU, US, and globally, applying various testing methodologies to improve software quality. This includes functional, application, regression, and performance testing.

The Integration Quality Assurance (IQA) team focuses on testing electronic CAD, Library, and Design management tools, often using virtual labs that replicate customer environments. These tools operate in both web and desktop environments. Our diverse customer base spans industries such as computer systems, electronics, mobile, wireless, industrial control systems, medical devices, semiconductors, telecommunications, automotive, aerospace, and defense.

The IQA team in Katowice consists of two scrum teams. You will receive an individualized training plan to help develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of your internship, you will be equipped with the knowledge and hands-on experience to excel in our projects and beyond.

Some of your key activities will include:

  • Continuously improve product quality by creating and maintaining automated tests.

  • Participate in product development as a quality specialist and contribute to process improvements.

  • Create and maintain testing environments using technologies like Python (PyWinAuto), Docker, Selenium, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Windows/Linux.

  • Collaborate closely with Senior Developers and other team members to enhance software performance.

  • Apply tools such as JIRA for task management and maintain a strong team-player attitude in a collaborative environment.

What do you need to succeed?

You are a student of degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electronics or other related field, able to commit 20-40h/week for this job

  • Conversational Polish, English

  • Eligibility to work legally in Poland without immigration support

  • Willingness to work independently and as part of the team

  • Attention to details and high-quality work

  • You should be familiar with at the least basic testing methodologies and one of the computer programming languages on the practical level – the rest you can learn with us!

  • Knowledge of Siemens Xpedition Enterprise software can help you but is not a must
