The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. The role involves ensuring the integrity of high availability infrastructure to provide maximum performance. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of networking, operating systems, and server management, along with excellent problem-solving skills.
IT Systems Administrator
Responsibilities
Support for internal customers and users in terms of IT and mobile devices issues
Providing support to Europe region (around 300 endpoints) – Servers, workstations, Printers, Applications (mostly Poland, Netherlands, Switzerland and UK)
PC hardware and software troubleshooting and problem solving
Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software
Cooperating with HQ IT support team in terms of creating user accounts and other corporate tickets
Following internal procedures and processes for providing excellent users support
Providing trainings and support on cybersecurity, implementation of new IT procedures or systems
Work and communicate effectively with and extensive IT team
Tracking of all work via ticketing system
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree (information technology or relevant)
Corresponding work experience
Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Systems
Good knowledge of English (min. B2);
Knowledge of Android, iOS and Windows Mobile and associated apps and configuration requirements
Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory including understanding of security best practices and principles
Experience with the Windows OS settings and configuration and Office Applications
Understanding of ActiveSync connection requirements and settings
Customer focused, project / team oriented, self-motivated and able to work alone
Continuous improvement and system enhancement focused
Positive and pleasant attitude
Ability to travel internationally (not frequently but is required) and a valid driver license.
