BASSETT MECHANICAL HVAC Project Engineer in KAUKAUNA, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bassett Inc. d/b/a Bassett Mechanical has a job opening for the position of HVAC Project Engineer based out of its location in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Job Duties: Develop and propose recommended HVAC and related design solutions per customer needs. Perform and coordinate system design for installation by project management and field construction resources. Respond to initial customer inquiries to investigate their HVAC needs. Discuss the specific customer requests and provide an overview of the general approach to be taken to resolve their needs. Design HVAC systems per industry standard practice and regulatory requirements to meet customers\' needs. Execute heating and cooling load calculations, air distribution design, boiler/chiller systems design, pump and piping design, steam system design, system choices, controls performance sequence definition, and miscellaneous components. Coordinate schematic designs and CAD drawings. Prepare construction cost estimates, soliciting equipment quotations from vendors and the company\'s computerized estimation program to establish the labor and material cost and price of the jobs. Prepare and present proposal letters including the project description, scope of performance, assumptions, and estimated cost to customer. Prepare and assemble construction drawings, and arrange plan reviews. Provide ad hoc engineering support to service, refrigeration, and industrial ventilation departments. #LI-DNI ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requires 24 months of experience in job offered or in a position in the HVAC industry. Requires demonstrated experience in: HVAC systems and design; SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or comparable computer-aided design software; Industry engineering codes and standards (ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, NEC, or UMC); FMEA; Test Method Process validation tools (IQ, QQ, and PQ); DoE; and VA/VE. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: chamee.vang@bassettmechanical.com
