Position Overview

As an Intern at C&S, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the wholesale grocery industry, contribute to meaningful projects, and better understand what goes into running one of the largest privately held companies in the US. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other interns and C&S employees to expand your network, participate in professional development opportunities, and enjoy some fun activities as well!

Job Description

• Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.

• Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.

• Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights.

• Aid in further enhancing department tools, templates and methodologies

• Gain exposure and knowledge on department functionalities

• Develop positive professional relationships across departments

• Complete special projects as assigned by your manager

• Complete an end-of-internship presentation to showcase the completion of learning objectives

• Learn, understand, and utilize tools to support team processes and projects

• Compile, prepare, clean, and interpret data relating to the transportation network

• Support and perform modeling scenarios with varying resource allocations to find optimal solutions to real-world problems

• Work independently and with the transportation modeling team to complete ongoing project work

• Location: Keene, NH Optical Ave. Office

We’re searching for interns that are:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited university

• In good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or better

• Junior or Senior standing at the time of the internship

• Currently majoring in Data Science, Mathematics, Analytics, or related field

• Proficient with Google’s suite of products preferred

• Proficient with Excel required

• Experience with SQL a plus

• Strong communicator, both written and verbal

• Able to think outside of the box and solve problems

• Able to work both with a team and be independently successfully

• Able to stay organized and pay close attention to detail
