Job Summary:
AID is looking for a HVAC Maintenance Technician to work at Keesler AFB, MS.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Maintains and services all equipment used for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning of buildings.
Performs preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment and components to manufactures recommendation (valves, motors, belts, bearings, filters and lubrication etc.)
Learns basics of equipment management controls (Metasys, Siemens, TAC) to be able to start and stop equipment properly during preventive maintenance.
Identifies and repairs any potential problems found on HVAC equipment during preventive maintenance and notify supervisor of any discrepancies.
Requisitions and maintains stock of replacement parts used in repair of facilities equipment.
Ability to read and interpret work orders.
Assists HVAC mechanics in the performance of routine maintenance and repairs to systems.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalency.
Valid US Driver’s License
Two years of verifiable related HVAC maintenance / troubleshooting experience
Ability to pass a National Agency background check
Desired Qualifications:
- Highly desirable EPA Universal (Type I, II and III) CFC/HCFC Refrigerant Processing Certification or ability to obtain
