Job Summary:

AID is looking for a HVAC Maintenance Technician to work at Keesler AFB, MS.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Maintains and services all equipment used for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning of buildings.

  • Performs preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment and components to manufactures recommendation (valves, motors, belts, bearings, filters and lubrication etc.)

  • Learns basics of equipment management controls (Metasys, Siemens, TAC) to be able to start and stop equipment properly during preventive maintenance.

  • Identifies and repairs any potential problems found on HVAC equipment during preventive maintenance and notify supervisor of any discrepancies.

  • Requisitions and maintains stock of replacement parts used in repair of facilities equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders.

  • Assists HVAC mechanics in the performance of routine maintenance and repairs to systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency.

  • Valid US Driver’s License

  • Two years of verifiable related HVAC maintenance / troubleshooting experience

  • Ability to pass a National Agency background check

Desired Qualifications:

  • Highly desirable EPA Universal (Type I, II and III) CFC/HCFC Refrigerant Processing Certification or ability to obtain
