JOB TITLE:SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR II LOCATION:BOTHELL, WA SUMMARY: Panasonic Avionics Corporation is looking to hire a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator II. Hourly rate ranges from$17.31 - $29.33based on years of experience.Starting rates increase with additional years of experience). This is an ONSITE, full time, direct hire position, offering full medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance. JOB SUMMARY Under limited supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Generate packing sheets per Oracle/Clear Orbit Sales order system once the final QA inspection has signed off and certified the product. Package and/or crate product for shipment. Mark product with proper handling marks and un-packaging instructions if applicable. Generate waybills/airbills and arrange transportation for shipments. Review and contact selected transportation agencies. Scan a copy of all outbound document packages and maintain records daily. Order all packing supplies, remain up-to-date on current ISPM wood requirements, USDA wood requirements, and specific customer/country requirements. Remain current on green packaging product and the cost/safety issues involved with all packaging materials. Responsible for department budget and cost buster issues on this line of product. Assist with the following "Receiving" functions when there is a heavy workload:&&Receive and visually inspect packages for damage and sign for deliveries from vendors, i.e. UPS, FED-X, DHL, and others.&&Count and verify material against packing sheet; maintain the receiving log and transfer functions in Oracle; match product up with Oracle generated travelers; and deliver product/documents to QA Inspection.&&Maintain receiving log for non-Oracle receipts and initiate damaged material claims when required. Train and certify others in the use of equipment, product handing and documentation requirements for in/out bound product when applicable. Transfer product to Integration. Document and handle clearance logistics for Hand Carried equipment EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School education or higher. 3 - 5 years related shipping/receiving experience required. Current forklift operation and safety certification. KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS Possess strong leadership skills. Knowledgeable with international shipping and INCOterms. Excellent written and verbal communications. Ability to operate a computer and utilize MS office suite of software applications i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook. Proficiency using Oracle, Clear Orbit and Spex. Ability to perform 10 key punch. Familiar with scanning systems. Proficient using various shipping software, i.e. DHL, Fed-ex, UPS, etc. Knowledge of HazMat materials and transit procedures, MSDS. Strong knowledge of use and safety procedures for various hand tools. Ability to effectively and professionally interact with all levels of internal management and support all departments when receiving or delivering packages. Possess solid reading, writing and mathematical skills. Understanding of production schedules. Understanding of ATA specification number 300.
