Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in maintaining a Food Safe environment at the plant and follow GMPs and Food Safety guidelines

• Reports all food safety or quality issues to QA Manager, Supervisor or Team Lead

• Perform chemical, physical and sensory tests on all raw and finished products using approved methods to generate accurate data.

• Testing to include but not limited to the following: weight checks, moisture analyzing, documenting COAs, retain samples, customer cuttings, defect analysis, counts, and stencil evaluation including: label, date code, product code, description, & UPC code.

• Record all information in an orderly fashion and report all deviations from standard to the Quality Assurance Manager or Supervisor

• Follow Quality Assurance procedures or any corrections as directed by Quality Assurance Manager, Supervisor or Team Lead

• Participate in improvement projects to support Continuous Improvement

Preferred Skills:

• Self-directed with the ability to work independently

• Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work.

• SAP proficiency

• Bilingual Skills

• Food processing knowledge, including familiarity with GMPs
