Job Description
Responsibilities of Position:
Responsibilities of HR-03-411 and HR-03-510 in addition to the following:
• Troubleshoot and operate CNC controls
• Troubleshoot, operate, and program drive systems
• Troubleshoot and program temperatures controllers and power supplies
• Troubleshool SCR control power supplies
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, to include programming: read ladder logic, statement logic, make program changes, write ladder logic, communicate with PLC through laptop, and program HMI's (Human-Machine Interface)
• Perform high-level troubleshooting and technical repairs of CNC equipment
• Perform high-level troubleshooting and technical repairs of robotics equipment
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and calibration using advanced understanding of instrumentation and calibration procedures
• Write and verify maintenance procedures for specific equipment and tasks
• Research parts and components for purchasing requirements, and identify interchangeable or substitue parts and components.
• Perform other related duties as required

Job Requirements
Physical/Environmental Scope of Position:
• work in/near electro-magnetic fields created by high temperature induction furnaces
• subjected to inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme heat and cold, atmospheric conditions, noise, vibration, oils, and other related industrial hazards
• work in confined spaces and wear a respirator
• vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment
• will be exposed to and handle hazardous wastes
• Must demonstrate the physical capacity to meet the demands of the "Heavy" Job Placement Assessment (JPA) as administered by St. Elizabeth Business Health Services

Experience/Education/Certification Required:
• Associate Degree in industrial electricity/electronics or verifiable equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years experience in an industrial environment
• Experience with PLC and DCS control systems and troubleshooting microprocessor based systems
• Experience in using electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
• Experience with CNC machine maintenance and operation
• Additional education, experience, and/or military experience will be considered in the event that an applicant does not meet one or more of the above requirements
