How You’ll Make an Impact
The Business Analyst is responsible for the analysis and insight building to drive the performance and execution for assigned business. The Business Analyst will build a sustainable platform and processes for the business to build actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and good decision making. This role will create ad hoc reports to help the business understand current performance, communicate with sales management trends and insights and partner with other departments to resolve any P&L related issues. The Business Analyst will work with both internal and external customers and systems used will vary but include SFDC, SAP, SNAP, DASH, SAC, Alloy and other Microsoft tools.
Manages weekly, monthly, and quarterly insights and analysis on Channel Partner performance. Has full ownership of understanding of inventory and service positions, providing insights on key drivers that are impacting profitability, and developing other information/tools for use by management in key business decisions.
Direct interaction with Channel Partner team to analyze and improve performance. Also work with leadership on establishing strategic goals and provide status on performance toward those goals.
Identify, root cause and work with support teams to drive resolution of issues with inventory. Effectively communicate the issue, resolution, and impact to management.
Leads analysis, analytics, and ad-hoc requests for the North America Channel Partner Supply Chain team, providing key insights to drive decision making.
Collaborate with Regional Supply Chain Manager to provide tools and metrics around KPI’s to report to sales organization, including dashboard development and maintenance and daily/weekly/monthly reports.
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree
Inventory Management experience
Network Design experience
Logistics experience
Data management and analysis skills, merging several data sources, identifying trends, identifying key drivers (Excel, Data Visualization tools, SAP, Reporting tools).
Skilled at communication, able to express insights and other information in a clear and concise manner. Able to adapt communication to the level of the audience.
Well organized and detail oriented
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
