ManpowerGroup Production Line Lead - 2nd/3rd shift in Kentwood, Michigan
Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Production Lead to join their team. As a Production Lead, you will be part of the Production department supporting their packaging operations. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have good communication skills and be reliable, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Line Lead
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay Range: $21-$22/hr.
Shifts: 2nd & 3rd shift
What’s the Job?
Order fulfillment, packaging, quality assurance
Weighing and scaling materials
SAP use for inventory reconciliation
Monitoring the production line
Meet line KPI's around line speed standards, production output standards.
Manage all machine operators, hilo drivers and general labor on the lines.
What’s Needed?
6 months - 1 year of Production and/or Warehouse experience, preferably in food production.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and to stand for long periods of time.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Have reliable transportation and be willing to work 7 days a week.
Understanding of GMP's, PPE and KPI's to meet client demand and to ensure all safety procedures are followed.
Ability to work with and lead a team of multicultural associates who speak many languages.
