Community Health Systems RN Labor & Delivery - Seasonal in KEY WEST, Florida
As a Labor & Delivery (L&D), Registered Nurse (RN), Seasonal,3 month contract, Days, 7am-7pm at Lower Keys Medical Center (LKMC) you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:
An Associate's Degree and RN (FL) certified are required.
1+ years of L&D experience required
Current BLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
About the job:
• Evaluating assigned patients and plans, implementing and documenting nursing care.
• Assisting the physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promoting patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients, and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• You will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Also a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically you will report to a manager or head of a unit/department.
