Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is currently seeking a Financial Analyst (level 2) to join our team in Rocket Center, WV, just outside of Cumberland, MD. The Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL) site in Rocket Center designs, develops and manufactures tactical rocket motors, medium caliber ammunition, composite components and end items, and fuze and electronics equipment. For decades, the dedicated and highly skilled team at ABL has supported national security efforts by developing and building defense systems for DoD customers and U.S. allies.

Job responsibilities

The Financial Analyst will assist with tasks across the Program Control, Budgeting, and accounting departments. The selected candidate will also interface with various departments to assist and accomplish tasks for the Finance organization.

Tasks include:

  • NCTA and Overhead Account analysis and maintenance
  • Revenue/project maintenance within Costpoint and through interfacing with FSS (Financial Shared Services)
  • Generation, processing, and invoicing of Intercompany workorders and interfacing with Intercompany counterparts
  • Consolidation and creation of finance files for various reporting purposes and analyses
  • Interfacing with Finance Managers in order to schedule meetings, set review agendas, and collaborate on various tasks, as needed

Basic Qualifications (Level 2):

  • Must have 7 Years of related experience in lieu of degree,or3 Years of related experience with Bachelors , or 1 Year of related experience with Masters
  • Must be able to analyze significant amounts of data using MS Office products: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask
  • Self-motivated and works well in team environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to work onsite in Rocket Center, WV

  • Initiative, self-starter, adaptable, and high motivation for excellence
  • Costpoint experience

Salary Range:$62,200-$93,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits ncluding health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
