One of our valued client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in accounting principles and practices, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a lot of multitasking. salary: $21 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable functions including generating aging reports, posts payments to customer accounts, invoicing, and collections calls
Communicates verbally or in writing with customers and personnel regarding missing documents, changed orders or pricing, account charges and procedures
Prints and mails customer invoices on a daily basis
Post all incoming ACH transactions and customer payments
Process credit memos and re-bill invoices
Prints, verifies and maintains accounts receivable invoice reports, open/aging reports, cash receipts reports, and journals
Codes AR invoices with account numbers according to distribution in the general ledger; keys invoices into computerized accounts receivable system
Maintains files for customer packing slip/shipping documents and customer purchase orders
