Position Title Adjunct Faculty - Drafting - Drafting & Design

Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week

Summary of Position

To assist the Department Chair in the instructional department to teach courses of instruction that the students need to obtain Certificates and Associate Degrees and to provide counseling and guidance to students.

Minimum Required Education

Associates Degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field required.

Minimum Required Experience

Three years wage full time wage earning related work experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Applicant must be competent to teach both conventional and Computer-Aided Drafting.

  • Must possess a demonstrated competency in the subject matter being taught, the ability to communicate with students in a clear manner and to author tests and lesson plans.

  • Applicant must possess the ability to provide academic and vocational guidance to students as needed.

  • A working knowledge of AutoCAD and specific application to engineering, surveying, and related applications.
