Hourly Rate 11.33

Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - hours vary depending on need, not to exceed 19.5 hours per week

Summary of Position

This job performs general clerical work of moderate difficulty and involves articulating institutional policies and adhering to specific procedures. The incumbent supports the implementation of Testing Services online programs and processes. Must work flexible hours in support of the General Educational Development ( GED ) and any additional tests offered at other sites.

Minimum Required Education

A high school diploma or GED required.

Minimum Required Experience

Three years of wage earning clerical experience or certification/successful completion of relevant trade school or (30 credit hours) and six months of wage earning clerical experience.

A copy of certificates required with application for evaluation purposes.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including MS Word and Excel, and internet.

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated fundamental grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure and filing skills.

  • Demonstrated data entry and word processing skills with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Ability to interact effectively with the public and with all levels of employees.

  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task.

  • Ability to become familiar with all aspects of online testing functions, and assist in the administration of all examinations given in the Testing Services Office.

  • Must maintain a professional appearance.

Must be able to pass the back ground check required by the facility for which test is given. Eligible for coverage under CTC’s commercial auto and other liability insurance policies.
