Superior Inc Machine Operator/Press Brake in Kindred, North Dakota
Superior Grain Equipment is located south of Horace, ND in the rural area (right in the heart of farm country)
Typical schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (Mandatory Friday's during busy season)
The MACHINE OPERATOR is responsible for the daily setup and operation of fabricating machines, such as Press Brake, Stamtec and Roll-former machines.
Essential Job Functions:
- Set up and operate fabricationmachines
- Safely load sheet metal into machine, unload fabricated product and stack safely, properly, and securely
- Maintain performance logbooks on assigned area equipment and report any deficiencies
- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to handle materials and completed work
- Operate hand and power tools, and other equipment as required to complete projects
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids
- Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance
- Ability to work independently and with a team
Physical Demands:
- Routinely walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, reaching, and handling
- Working near moving mechanical parts; near noise routinely, and exposed to outdoor elements
