Tecolote Research, Inc. Budget Financial Analyst in King George, Virginia
Overview We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following:
Responsibilities
- Developing program fiscal year budgets
- Data collection and reporting of program financial execution
- Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives
- Analytical support for program controls related to cost and schedule performance
Skills Required
- Minimum five years of professional experience; including four years of specialized experience in analyzing/developing program budgets, data collection and reporting, financial forecasting, and/or analysis of program requirements and operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Minimum interim Secret level security clearance required
- Bachelors degree required
- Additional relevant experience desired for applicants includes:
- Experience related to Department of Defense and/or Navy programs
- Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Experience with Navy Integrated Budget Planning and Execution System (IBPES)
Education
- Bachelors degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
