Robert Half Desktop Support Technician in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry. The role is located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will provide technical support to our team, manage the installation of desktop hardware, and troubleshoot Windows 10 OS and Office 365 Suite.
Responsibilities:
• Provide desktop support to staff, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues
• Install and maintain desktop hardware for all team members
• Troubleshoot Windows 10 OS issues to minimize downtime and loss of productivity
• Utilize Office 365 Suite skills to support team members in day-to-day operations
• Learn and adapt to new technologies to provide the best IT support possible
• Interface directly with team members to provide fast, effective, in-person support on demand
• Provide remote support to other facilities as required
• Document all support interactions in the helpdesk platform for record keeping and future reference
• Assist with AV set up/support when necessary
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while providing excellent customer service to all team members. Requirements • Proficiency in MS Windows 10 is necessary.
• Must have skills in Basic Troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is required.
• Knowledge of MS Office 365 is a must.
• Ability to perform Hardware Installation is needed.
• Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Mgt industry would be beneficial.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
