Description
Robert Half is working with a company in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Mgt field to find a Desktop Support Technician with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format. If you are an articulate problem solver who loves to work in a challenging and positive environment, this may be the Desktop Support Technician role for you. Located in the King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature.
100% ONSITE
7:30AM START TIME
Your responsibilities in this role:
Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Maintain, analyze, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions
Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Be in contact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Requirements
100% ONSITE
7:30AM START TIME
Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
Command of Basic Troubleshooting
Solid understanding of MS Windows 10
Microsoft Office 365 experience preferred
Hardware Installation experience
Desktop support or related experience
