Universal Health Services Program Director - Internal Communications in KING OF PRUSSIA, Pennsylvania

(This role has a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days flex-remote)

The UHS Corporate PR & Communications Department is hiring a Program Director - Internal Communications to spearhead the platforms, content, promotion and measurement of internal communications, driving understanding, commitment and engagement among UHS employees.
Key Responsibilities include:
Drive development of programs, initiatives, and campaigns targeted to internal audiences
Promote positive news internally – across multiple channels/platforms – to increase employees’ connection with the company and to help them identify their contribution toward its success
Develop and communicate business news, functional area education, company accolades and timely initiatives
Support Divisional Presidents in developing and delivering regular business updates to their hospital/facility target groups
Work with IS on development and periodic refresh of platforms that enable company and departmental collaboration and information-sharing needs
Write, edit, format, distribute and post announcements, news articles, electronic displays, videos and presentations
Monitor industry trends and evolves platforms as newer approaches emerge. Reports metrics and seeks to continuously increase access to, and meaningful consumption of, internal communication
Support information flow and energizes 90,000 employees globally, or subsets thereof, at Corporate, at hospital facilities, and/or within specific functional areas
Coordinate Corporate Office messaging, signage and specific projects in collaboration with Facilities and HR
Develop content for digital platforms in support of annual leadership conference
Maintain ownership of Corporate intranet, providing timely content updates and guidance/support for department level pages
Serves as main point of contact for identified external vendors supporting communications platforms, including video creation and photography
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications/Journalism or related field with 5+ years' experience in communications, marketing, or similar field in corporate or agency setting required.
Superb written/verbal communication skills
Ability to distill complex information into engaging storytelling
Excellent writing/editing/proofing skills
Keen attention to detail
Efficient multi-tasking capabilities
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Team player working collaboratively across the organization
Strong working experience in a fast-paced, changing culture
Must thrive in an entrepreneurial and less structured environment.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
Healthcare experience preferred
