Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated Computer Developer to join our Operations Analysis (OA) team within the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area. As a key member of the OA team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and impacting the future of the warfighter. The Work

As part of the OA organization, you will support Operations Analysis studies through modeling, simulation, and analysis of military systems. These studies quantify the impact of new operational concepts (CONOPS), system design variants, payloads, weapons, tactics, and force size/mix on survivability and mission effectiveness. You will transform study concepts into effective models or simulations that provide analysis for requirements definition, CONOPS evaluation, operational and cost-effectiveness studies, and military utility assessments.

• Collaborate within teams to execute studies by developing analysis and study tools.

• Engage with internal stakeholders to understand desired performance outcomes.

• Research military systems performance and operations.

• Model military systems and scenarios using AFSIM and other Modeling & Simulation tools.

• Develop tools to quantify Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) and Measures of Performance (MOPs).

• Create simulation plug-ins to showcase results, enabling meaningful conclusions for customers and stakeholders.

• Prepare reports and briefings, presenting developmental hurdles and milestones.

• Support cross-Lockheed Martin business area constructive digital simulations, virtual reconstructive events, or wargaming activities.

You will work closely with and take direction from Study Leads and management. You will be expected to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems, stay updated on the latest industry trends, and take the initiative to gather and disseminate information in relevant subject areas. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or other technical degree

-Knowledge of C++, Python, Excel VBA and/or constructive simulation tools.

-Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills:

Military operational experience

Modeling & Simulation and/or Cameo/System Modeling Language (SysML) experience

Familiarity/experience with Operations Analysis tools such as Advanced Framework for Simulation Integration and Modeling (AFSIM), System Tool Kit (STK), Command Professional Edition (PE), ExtendSim, and/or Cameo

Experience with C++, Python, Excel VBA and Git/Gitlab

Familiarity with Agile practices & execution

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
