Responsibilities
The Treasury Analyst is an entry level position assigned to Capital Markets & Benefit Investments and is responsible for the preparation of Benefit Investment reports, portfolio rebalancing, and analysis supporting interest expense and factoring. This role prepares the quarterly Benefit Investment presentation materials for Committee review and assists in managing cash flows and valuation reports for investments.
• Monthly rebalancing of investments to align with Investment Policy Statements • Prepares quarterly committee presentations reviewing investment performance, strategy oversight, and other administrative items • Front line communication of day to day activities with investment managers • Pension, 401K and other employment benefit plan expense reconciliation • Annual compilation of asset valuation and review for 10-K financial reporting • Assists with annual process on Alternative Investment tax returns • Audit support for internal/external audits and plan audits • Support Capital Markets Team and other responsibilities as needed
Functional Skills and Capabilities
• Foundational knowledge and understanding of Accounting and Investments • Basic understanding of financial analysis • Strong verbal and written communication / presentation skills • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Productivity / Ongoing improvement mindset • High level of initiative and good judgement • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required • Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) • Prior experience in preparing and communicating financial reports (preferred)
