Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour

Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer professional, you will:

  • Develop processes, systems, and equipment to ensure the quality, reliability, and system safety of company or procured products and services.

  • Provide quality system design and analysis reviews to validate the integrity of quality decisions affecting products and services.

  • Analyze contractual, product definition, and specification requirements to develop or modify methods, procedures, and metrics needed to meet quality standards and practices.

  • Analyze and provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, and equipment.

  • Perform scientific evaluations and analyses, and process audits.

  • Test and approve products, processes, equipment, and measurement systems to ensure resulting processes provide for configuration management.

  • Participate in design and product reviews to ensure producibility, inspectability, reliability, safety, Quality System integrity, and business process management objectives are met.

  • Perform research such as benchmarking to industry standards; analyze and compile performance reports and process control statistics to improve process capability or product quality.

  • Conduct root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions necessary to reduce or eliminate nonconformance to design specifications.

  • Interface with company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and use statistical methodologies to ensure specified levels of safety, reliability, and process capability are achieved, maintained, or improved.

Requirements:

  • Perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and develop Control Plans to mitigate process risk.

  • Conduct investigations from the shop floor to the engineering lab to identify and eradicate defects from the product using various Root Cause Analysis Tools.

  • Have practical experience, especially with RCCA and PFMEA, working with shop floor operations and quality teams to solve manufacturing process problems.

  • Aerospace experience is a must.

  • This is a 100% on-site role.

Education:

  • 5-8 years with a Bachelor's degree, 3-6 years with a Master's degree, or 0-3 years with a PhD or JD.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
