onsemi Administrative Site Manager for onsemi Design Centre in Kista, Sweden
The site in Kista is a design centre for silicon carbide (SiC) power semiconductor devices in the US company onsemi (http://www.onsemi.com) with focus on SiC device design and process module development. In addition the site is also a sales office for Nordic and Key accounts of onsemi. The site of 14 people in total, is a Center of Excellence within onsemi for SiC device technology. Onsemi offers a global working environment at the front-line of semiconductor design and manufacturing. The area of SiC semiconductors is rapidly expanding and we are seeing a need to hire more technical experts going forward.
The working language at the site is English, but since some work duties include interaction with Swedish government agencies and local suppliers, skills to communicate professionally in Swedish, both verbally and in written language, is a requirement.
Job role
Overview
The physical site consists of offices, meeting rooms and an advanced laboratory for electrical characterization. The site manager is responsible for daily operation of the site including compliance to Swedish regulatory as well as onsemi internal business processes. This includes business continuity and risk planning at a high level.
The site manager is responsible for the working infrastructure in the office and the laboratory including coordination of IT support and work with continuous improvement, safety and the general work environment at the site.
The job role will also include administrative work in ongoing R&D projects that run together with both the local team and team members located in other sites within onsemi.
One part-time administrative assistant report to the site manager.
