Location Description Michael Foods, Inc. located in Klingerstown, Pennyslvania known for their ice cream socials at Klingerstown Lutheran Parish, fishing rodeo, and fireman's parade. Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for collecting, reconciling, inputtingand interpreting data to ensure accurate reporting of finished good and semi-finished good production and consumption of materials used. This person generates reports which provide information as to the performance of the plant, specifically the Precooked Operations, against standard Key Performance Indicators. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Reconcile daily liquid inventories • Confirm production for precooked/liquid processes • Generate various daily, weekly and monthly reports based on collected/ interpreted data related to material shrink, line performance (Overall Equipment Efficiency), resource downtime and loss events • Reconcile cycle count inventory adjustments for ingredients and packaging. • Participate on SRMP team. • Expected to adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained in order to maintain SQF Level 3 certification. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety. • Performs other duties as assigned Provide administrative assistance to other departments as needed. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent. • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, fractions, ratios. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: • Ability to be very detailed oriented • Math skills • Customer service capabilities • Basic computer skills with ability to input data into the SAP system • Light typing skills • Ability to work indoors in normal office setting for duration of shift. • Ability to answer phones and receive pertinent information The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of the work and may not include all of the duties required of the position.
