Position Summary:
Responsible for providing on-call, in-house pastoral care to patients, visitors, and employees.

Responsibilities
Responds to requests for pastoral care services.
Provides pastoral care to patients, visitors, and employees as appropriate.
Logs time and visits for any follow-up actions by Chaplain and charts visits on electronic medical record (EMR).
Maintains confidentiality in relationships established through service.
Assists community clergy in provision of pastoral services with patients and visitors as opportunity develops.
Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
At least (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) completed.
Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years experience in pastoral ministry, with one (1) year in health care ministry.One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required.
