Randstad has partnered with a large heavy equipment company located in East Knoxville! We are sourcing out candidates who have 4-5 years of experience as a Diesel Maintenance Mechanic. In this position you will be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting and reconditioning all heavy equipment serviced by the company. This is a day shift position with some overtime. Pay ranges from $25-$36/hour depending on your experience. Benefits and advancement opportunities are available! Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, repairs, and reconditioning of all products serviced by the heavy equipment company with no supervision in the shop or from the assigned field service truck at the customer job site
Follows directions accurately and performs tasks in standard times while working with no supervision
Work performed is mistake and error-free
Accepts responsibility for own work and understands the impact of this work on the company
Capable of inspecting equipment determining parts reusability and developing parts and material lists as needed with no supervision
Shows interest in own work
Properly safeguards all tools
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
working weekends
