Key Account Manager, North West OEM

What is the job about?

The main responsibility of the role is to monitor and develop current and future projects for existing customers within the assigned Industrial OEM class, including Industrial Water Treatment companies, Industrial Boiler manufacturers, and Machinery Industry OEMs, converting these opportunities into sales. The role aims to promote sales growth by gaining new Industrial OEM customers as well and establishing good relationships to establish customer loyalty. Additionally, the role involves serving as the single point of contact for the assigned customer group, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty through regular negotiations and comprehensive management of the sales process.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Will be responsible of all activities of existing and potential Industrial OEM customers in North West region (Kuzey Marmara) and develop sales activities through industrial market.

  • Identify the needs and requirements of Industrial OEMs to promote our company’s solutions and offerings within the area of responsibility.

  • Regular sales and customer visits to Industrial OEMs and relevant stakeholders such as contractors and channel partners.

  • Achieving and exceeding the sales target of given existing and new Industrial OEM customers.

  • Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability and drive debt collections within own area and assigned customers.

  • Opportunity and project pipeline follow-up and management.

  • Ensure quality opportunity pipeline and positive hit rate.

  • Project follow-up with customers by navigating opportunities, attending customer visits on site, providing technical and commercial support and initiating relevant projects with Industrial OEMs.

  • Providing product technical support to customers, consultants and engineering firms that design OEM machines to ensure the specification and correct application of Grundfos products.

  • Being responsible for the sales activities of the assigned Industrial OEMs, preparing a sales plan, checking the stock availability and encouraging the customers.

  • Gathering market information about commercial procurement, competitor strategies and activities, and creating appropriate sales strategies, providing recommendations to business managers and realizing sales.

  • Proactively follow up, analyze and report on Industrial OEM market and ensure regular dialogues.

  • Develop the yearly negotiations with assigned customers and report sales performance monthly.

  • Actively responsible to promote and optimize sales for the Industrial OEM customers directly and with the dealers within North West Region (Kuzey Marmara) in Turkey in collaboration with the relevant teams.

  • Identify Industrial OEM customers who use Grundfos products and services and have the potential to use them to make regular sales by bringing these customers to Grundfos.

  • Feasibility of new businesses, markets and projects that have the potential to use Grundfos' Industrial products and services and identify customers.

  • Apply an understanding of target markets, products, and applications and bring added value and resources to the sales process resulting in gains in market share.

  • Identify different stakeholders (administrators) and utilize the right approach to promote sales.

  • Ensure a high level of market knowledge to effectively facilitate commercial activities.

  • Introduce new products and solutions to the customers.

  • Ensure knowledge sharing with the team and take responsibility for own competence development.

  • Review substantial quotations and project bids.

  • Responsible for orchestrating of leads & sales activities, quotations and project executions.

  • Other tasks or project as and when required

Your background :

  • Min. a bachelor's in engineering combined with at least 5-10 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar sales role.

  • Experienced in sales for industrial OEM business, industrial end users and dealer management is required.

  • Experienced in the pump market or similar fields will be a differentiator.

  • Experienced in water treatment applications or similar fields will be a differentiator.

  • Good proficiency in English language is a must.

  • May travel from time to time within the role, must have a B-class driving license
