Sr Project Leader, HR Change Management

The role of Sr. HR Project Leader – Change Management will support the HR team’s largest initiative yet, a transition to a new Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, Workday.

This newly created role is responsible for driving the success of the HCM program by providing strategic direction and ensuring widespread adoption and usage across HR, leaders, and associates. Focused on the people side of change, this role will prepare, support, and equip associates to adopt and use new business processes, systems, and technology. They will develop and deliver actionable change and communication initiatives to support the HCM program and are responsible for the plans, tools, materials, and measures (adoption, utilization, stabilization, and associate/stakeholder experience) for the program.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Change Management Strategy: In partnership with the consulting partner, deliver change management strategies to achieve assigned program deliverables and adoption goals. Create communication and training plans to enable smooth implementation of the strategy.Drive the execution of best practices across the HCM program and other designated projects and initiatives.

  • Relationship Building/Management: Build and leverage key relationships across the business. Consult and coach project team members on change management best practices to improve implementation communication and adoption.

  • Transformation: Develop, communicate, and implement a vision for transformation outcomes. Help people understand and adopt new technologies and workflows. Ensures consistency in communication and change management practices through the deployment of change methodologies, tools, processes, and capabilities.

  • End User Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders and change agents across the business to understand the full systematic impact of change; identify opportunities and manage anticipated resistance; create actionable deliverables.

  • Training and Support: Provides input, documents requirements, and supports the design and delivery of training materials and programs. Supports building change management capability across the HR organization.

  • Measuring and Reporting: Evaluates and ensures user readiness, manages stakeholders; tracks and reports issues and risks; defines and measures success metrics and monitors change progress.

  • Consultation and Leadership: In collaboration with HR leadership, the HCM team, and functional Subject Matter Experts, responsible for ensuring that the organization is properly prepared, leaders and people are engaged and have awareness and preparation of the changes, resistance, and risk associated with change is effectively managed, measures of change effectiveness are defined and agreed and that the benefits are realized, and the solution is adopted by the business.

  • Program Management Support: Communicates change management efforts to stakeholders, solicits feedback, and reports progress against agreed strategies and plans.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management.

  • Prior HCM implementation project experience, preferably Workday

  • Change Management Certification is highly desirable, Prosci (preferred)

  • Awareness of industry communication / change management methodologies and tools; ability to leverage different methodologies and tools as necessary to address needs.

  • Demonstrable experience delivering communication and change ma

  • Engagement solutions for complex inter-related global programs and projects across unionized and non-unionized environments.

  • Experience working in global, multicultural environments which require cultural awareness.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and proactively address impacts and disruptions.

  • Strategic and forward-thinking with the ability to drive execution to deliver results.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship management knowledge, skills, and abilities to establish credibility and confidence with associates and stakeholders.

  • Strong personal presence and ability to influence, galvanize, and align customers and employees at all levels.

  • Strong communication, listening, facilitation, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle

  • Comfort with ambiguity

The salary range for this position is $98,900 - $125,600. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
