Enterprise Architect (Infrastructure)

We are seeking a talented Enterprise Architect to join our Global Enterprise Architecture team. Based in Krakow, Poland, this role will collaborate with local and global teams across architecture, application development, and engineering to accelerate and shape the next wave of innovative products and services.

As a member of the Global Enterprise Architecture team, you will contribute to defining and supporting services, processes, and technology platforms across public and private clouds. We’re looking for a self-motivated and experienced technical architect who thrives in a global, collaborative environment and can establish new standards, reference architectures, and patterns for cloud services, application rationalization, and enterprise architecture.

What the day will look like:

  • Analyze business drivers and current/future business capabilities to design enterprise systems and define changes required to achieve targeted business outcomes.

  • Collaborate with application architects on projects to ensure alignment with overall enterprise architecture.

  • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards, services, and configurations, both standard and custom.

  • Consult on application and infrastructure development projects to align systems or infrastructure with architecture and make necessary adjustments.

  • Lead or participate in application rationalization efforts to streamline and optimize the organization’s application portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment with business needs.

  • Provide guidance and support for implementing and maturing ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM) practices and tools.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • 3+ years of enterprise or solution architecture experience.

  • 5+ years of IT engineering or similar experience.

  • Proven experience architecting solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP clouds, with the ability to design large-scale solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS where appropriate.

  • Hands-on experience with application rationalization initiatives, including leveraging tools like ServiceNow APM to assess and optimize application portfolios.

  • Proficiency in creating logical architecture designs for public and private cloud environments, covering IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions.

  • Experience with enterprise architecture modeling tools such as BizzDesign, LeanIX, or ArchiMate.

  • Knowledge of TOGAF and/or Enterprise Architect recommended approaches.

  • Practical experience with IT Architecture Governance processes.

  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or Scrum methodologies.

  • Industry experience in financial services or insurance is a plus.

  • Knowledge of API management platforms like Azure APIm or similar tools.

  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to visualize how individual parts interact within the larger ecosystem.

  • Deep understanding of IT governance, operations, and enterprise architecture frameworks.

    Competencies:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Strong leadership abilities with a customer-focused attitude and collaborative approach.

  • Solution-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Interpersonal and leadership skills, including servant leadership, facilitation, and negotiation.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver results under tight deadlines.

    Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • AWS, Azure, or GCP certification.

  • TOGAF and ArchiMate certifications (preferred).
