IBM Junior DevOps Developer in Krakow, Poland
Introduction
We are looking for highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineers to join our team as we embark on building a CI/CD pipeline to support the delivery of IBM container products to our valued customers. As a DevOps Developer, you will play a crucial role in implementing, and maintaining this new pipeline
Your Role and Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Provision, update, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
Virtual Machine Management: Manage and optimize virtual machines within a cloud environment.
Monitoring and Security: Implement and maintain monitoring systems, ensure robust security measures, and manage patching processes.
Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain cloud environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team using Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in script programming development (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Linux Expertise:
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Version control - GIT or equivalent
Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment
Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical assistance via various Slack channels
Understanding of software testing and quality assurance processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic development environment
Willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends in CI/CD and DevOps
Language Proficiency: Communicative level of English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) knowledge
Terraform Proficiency: Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
Java/Ruby
Experience with cloud platforms.
Solid understanding of cloud security best practices.
Familiarity with application load balancers
