About the Opportunity

The Civil Engineering team is dedicated to hands-on, practical engineering solutions. Our focus is on actively delivering civil engineering capabilities for a range of complex and highly technical projects in the nuclear and defence sectors. We prioritise applying first principles to understand structural responses under extreme conditions like seismic events, blast loads, and environmental challenges. We are looking for an engineer who is ready to take charge of designs, dive deep into technical challenges, and bring innovative solutions to life.

Drainage Lead plays a critical, hands-on role in delivering practical, high-quality engineering solutions for infrastructure and civil engineering projects. This role emphasises proactive design work, applying technical expertise and direct implementation skills to drive project success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead hands-on drainage design and execution, utilising MicroDrainage and related software to create effective solutions.

  • Own and deliver drainage designs, ensuring practical and compliant solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrating drainage considerations into larger project goals.

  • Engage directly with on-site teams to address challenges and ensure practical implementation of designs.

  • Champion health, safety, and environmental standards within drainage design projects.

Skills and Requirements

  • Extensive experience in drainage design, with proven capability in using MicroDrainage.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

  • Strong technical skills and a hands-on approach to design challenges.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
