The Senior Software Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for developing digital applications that transform the development and manufacture of biologic drugs for internal and external customers.
This position is part of the Automation, Digital & Learning Solutions group. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
Work on projects including process development data management, asset monitoring and health, remote serviceability, modeling, and simulation.
Work with a global, diverse team and help to design and build the technology platform required to meet our customers’ needs.
Provide technical leadership during feature grooming, design, and implementation to ensure that the development team has the clarity needed to develop the right solution and to execute effectively.
Consistently deliver readable, maintainable, and efficient software to minimize technical debt.
Understand performance, security, and scalability requirements, and build systems to meet those requirements.
Who you are:
Graduated with a bachelor / master / PhD degree in Computer Science or “STEM” majors (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
Five or more years professional experience.
Proficiency with web application development including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with front-end JavaScript development libraries (React preferred).
Familiarity with agile methodology and cloud services (AWS preferred).
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Biotechnology/Life Sciences industry or other regulated environments.
Experience applying GAMP-5 and Software Development Lifecycle Management
