  • Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day

  • Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.

  • Our Retail or convenience store part of Delek, runs over 250 stores in Texas and New Mexico. We also have company-branded New-to-Industry DK stores in the southern part of the US!

Job Summary:

The Sr. CI/OT Specialist is a critical role responsible for overseeing the maintenance, support, and optimization of the organization's IT/OT infrastructure. This role requires a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in managing complex systems, providing advanced technical support, and driving strategic IT initiatives. The Sr. CI/OT Specialist will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization's computer systems and networks, supporting both business systems and industrial control system technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and senior authority for the support of Critical Infrastructure, On Site Users, and Operations technology, ensuring seamless functionality and reliability.

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance infrastructure resilience and performance.

  • Oversee and manage the support and maintenance of Industrial Automation & Control Systems (IACS) Hardware and Software, including network switches, firewalls, and servers.

  • Implement robust solutions to optimize the performance and security of IACS components.

  • Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for Windows workstations, Office 365, Collaboration technology, and network connectivity issues on the business network.

  • Mentor and guide junior staff in resolving complex technical issues and improving their technical acumen.

  • Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of all devices, ensuring precise records of equipment.

  • Lead Tiers 1-3 troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, utilizing excellent communication skills to guide users and technical staff through complex problem resolution.

  • Efficiently process, prioritize, and manage work requests and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and exceeding user satisfaction standards.

  • Provide strategic recommendations on the lifecycle management of hardware and software, including planning for upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning.

  • Maintain detailed, comprehensive, and current documentation on processes, procedures, and infrastructure for reference and knowledge sharing.

  • Occasionally travel to other facilities to provide on-site support, ensuring consistent and high-quality service across all locations.

  • Assist with on-site support initiatives and projects, coordinating with local teams and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate effectively as a senior team member, fostering communication, cooperation, information sharing, and problem-solving.

  • Assist cross-functional teams in technology projects and initiatives, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Assist in various strategic and operational areas as directed by the manager to support and advance departmental and organizational goals.

  • Be available to participate in an on-call scheduled rotation, providing night and weekend support coverage.

Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:

  • 3-6 years of related experience  

  • Oil & Gas industry experience.

  • Knowledge of VMWare, Cisco, Microsoft products, and familiarity with IACS (Honeywell, DeltaV, Schneider, Yokogawa, etc) a plus.

  • Understanding of security concepts, firewall configuration and the Purdue model a plus.
