The Analyst – Intercompany Finance plays a key role in the Intercompany function within the financial closing. The Analyst – Intercompany Finance is required to perform the duties and responsibilities in accordance with Company Policies and with audit compliance. This is a temporary role.
This position is part of the Center for Finance Services (CFS) and will be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform monthly Intercompany reconciliation and confirmation.
Investigate, work closely with country controllers to resolve the imbalances / disputed item related to un-reconciled items.
Perform month-end tasks related to intercompany and able to handle corporate team queries, investigate and provide resolution during month end closing.
Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation in accordance with Finance Manual Policy and carry out investigation if any discrepancies noted.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues whenever necessary.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Candidate must possess at least an Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting or any related professional qualification.
1-3 years’ experience in a similar role (Preferably in Shared Service environment).
Ability to work across geographies, interacting with all levels of the organization to ensure all month end deliverables are met.
Quizitive and analytical, able to assess discrepancies and determine resolution.
Operating knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP).
