U.S. Army Cyber Command Logistics Management Specialist in Kuwait, Kuwait

Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located in Camp Arifjan Kuwait. Lifting, shift work and other than normal duty hours Responsibilities Manages the non-expendable, durable, and expendable IT and installation property and supplies, establishes and maintains primary and sub-hand receipts. Utilizing automated logistical systems, to include but not limited to Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Federal Catalog data system (FEDLOG), Web Based Total Army Authorization Document System (WebTAAD) General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBs), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Serves as the organizational command supply coordinator and advises with regulatory compliance. Researching vendors, planning, purchasing supplies and equipment. Serves as the primary purchase holder and executes purchases according to regulation. Performs other duties such as non-tactical vehicle management, liaison with the Directorate of Logistics (DOL), facility work orders, government purchase card holder, and key control. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by: Managing property, supplies, and hand receipts; Utilizing automated logistical systems, to include but not limited to Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Federal Catalog data system (FEDLOG), Web Based Total Army Authorization Document System (WebTAAD), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBs), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF);Researching vendors, planning, purchasing supplies and equipment; Serving as a purchase card holder. OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. [remove LL.M., if unrelated] with a major study in electrical or electronic engineering, mathematics, physics, public utilities, statistics, computer science, telecommunications management, information systems management, business administration, industrial management, or other fields related to the position to be filled. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. In accordance with DoD CES Personnel System Implementation Guidance for Overseas Rotations and Administrative Return Rights, employees must be able to satisfy the rotation requirement and tour limitations in DoD Instruction 1400.25 Volume 1230. Current DoD Employees: If a current permanent CES employee, you shall be granted administrative return rights. If not a current permanent CES employee, you may be granted administrative return rights if agreed to by your CONUS organization. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university. Employees who require medical or dental care in the overseas location will be responsible for obtaining and paying for such care. Access for civilian employees to military medical and dental treatment facilities is on a space-available and reimbursable basis only. Medical and dental care may be provided by host nation providers. The availability and level of care at host nation medical and dental facilities will vary by location. Government housing is provided. Domicile to duty transportation will be provided at no cost to employees. This is a taxable benefit. Storage of POV is not authorized.
