The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Warehouse Clerk to support our government customer located in Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide all property management support and as needed, backup logistics support

  • Receive, inventory, issue, turn in, and store property and supplies according to AR 710-2.

  • Maintain orderly storage and inventory across multiple warehouses

  • Working with Operations establish stock reorder points and maintain those inventory levels

  • Document all property end items with a photograph of the item and the item serial number overlaid with the NSN and GCSS-A description that will be maintained as a “Flip Book” to facilitate Government inspection and inventory checks.

  • Add, delete, or change assets in the logistics database as reflected on issue, turn-in, and Administrative Adjustment Reports (AAR).

  • Review all transactions on missing items, according to AR 735-5, paragraph 2-5; AR 710-2, Chapter 7; and DoDI 5000.64 for discrepancies in property accountability and provide results to the COR.

  • Perform property accountability functions IAW AR 710-2 and AR 735-5, except for initiating a DD Form 200, Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss.

  • Conduct physical inventories of all assets IAW AR 710-2 and provide results to the COR.

  • Maintain detailed records of the number and condition of supplies.

  • Logistic support encompassing all functions for purchasing, shipping, warehousing, managing, and tracking of material, equipment, household goods, and supplies.

  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • High school diploma

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3) years of experience performing property accountability, inventory, and property tracking duties.

  • Ability to keep accurate records

  • Stock control and accounting procedures

  • Procedures for shipping receiving storing and issuing stock

  • Ability to relocate and reside at the USAG-KA in the RMI. You must meet current vaccination requirements for infectious diseases to enter the RMI. Must also be willing to meet any future vaccination requirements if mandated by the RMI.  

  • Pre-employment health screening is required due to the island's remote location and limited medical and dental capabilities. 

  • Ability to ride a bicycle or walk at least 2 miles to/from work daily. There are no personally owned vehicles allowed on USAG-KA. Transportation is primarily by bicycle. 

  • Ability to travel by plane or small sea-going vessel between working locations. 

  • May be required to work overtime. 

  • Rotational callback and emergency duty are requirements of this position.

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3) years of experience as a technician preferred.

  • Experience performing in a DoD IT environment preferred.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE: 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • SECRET security clearance to access classified information.
