Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic Health System Family Medicine Department is seeking a NP / PA to join our Family Medicine practice in La Crosse.

The NP / PA works cooperatively with physicians and other skilled allied health personnel. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status. A requirement in the team-based environment is the ability to appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs. Working environment will be fast paced, and candidates must possess the ability to multitask. Candidates will be a part of a collaborative care practice and provide timely, convenient care to all patients and families, including walk-in patients.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner candidates must be masters prepared graduates of an accredited school of a nursing and nurse practitioner program along with current Wisconsin RN and APNP license, NP certification, and current DEA certification/eligibility.

Physician Assistant candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and licensure as a PA by the Wisconsin Board of Medical Practice.

Must be able to see patients from birth through geriatrics.
