Schedule Weekly Hours:40 Gundersen Health System is seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor who can contribute to this mission by engaging, motivating, and driving a culture of service and patient satisfaction in our high-energy, patient-centered Surgical department. As a Level 2 Trauma Center, the Surgery department is a fast-paced unit with 20 state-of-the-art operating rooms and 2 labor and delivery suites with cutting-edge surgical equipment. We provide a wide range of surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries to populations ranging from neonates to adults. This multidisciplinary team includes RNs, surgeons, anesthesia staff, surgical technologists, and surgical assistants. What You\'ll Do: As a supervisor you will assist in carrying out the vision, objectives, and strategies of the Surgery department consistent with the System\'s mission, vision and goals. You will assist the leadership team in determining which resources are needed and recommend the acquisition of additional resources where indicated. You will advocate change in processes and systems to ensure optimal, cost effective health care delivery. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for facilitating the resolution of clinical, staff, and policy issues including the oversight of ENT, Plastics, Oral Surgery, Neuro and Heart service lines as well as approximately 40 direct reports including Perioperative Technicians and C.N.A.s within the department.
