Are you driven to make a difference in your community? Are you interested in working with youth from a diverse background? We are looking to fill the role of a Youth Center Coordinator. Requirements: * At least 18 years of age. * Willingness to participate in employer criminal background check (Conviction of a crime does not necessarily disqualify you from this position). * Food Handlers Card or willing to obtain. * Knowledge of kitchen practices and food safety. Duties: * Responsible for helping with the operation of the Youth Resource Center. * Greet youth as they enter the drop in center. * Expected to act as a role model and demonstrate appropriate behavior. * Build meaningful connections with young people from diverse backgrounds through trust, empathy, and respect. * Work independently with minimal supervision. * Work with/lead our youth workforce to accomplish complex tasks. * Participate in Center programming. * Assist in the planning and implementation of youth meal programs. * Additional duties as assigned. Wage and Benefits: * \$20 per hour. * Partial health/benefit stipend (\$450 dollars per month). Hours: * 30 - 32 hours per week. * Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9am - 6pm, Wednesday 10am - 7pm. * Willing to work around employees schedule.
