We’re excited to share that we are hiring for a Children’s Group Home Administrator position based in the San Diego area (La Mesa & El Cajon). Non-Negotiable Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Children’s Group Home Administrator Certification
DSP 1 & 2 Certifications
Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT) Certification (40-hour course required)
EVBH Specialized Behavioral Certification
Experience Requirements:
With a BA: At least 2 years of management experience in a children’s group home.
With an AA: At least 3+ years of experience in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
Oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and performance of staff.
Manage call-outs and ensure appropriate coverage at all times.
Licensing and Compliance:
Maintain all necessary licenses and ensure the facility meets state and local regulations.
Ensure compliance with administrative and behavioral care standards.
Administrative Duties:
Manage paperwork, charting, and reporting to ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
Oversee facility records and operational tasks.
Resident Care:
Ensure the safety, well-being, and daily needs of residents are consistently met.
Address resident issues, providing a safe and supportive living environment.
Facility Management:
Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the home, ensuring the facility is safe, fully equipped, and maintained to high standards.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
Children’s Group Home Administrator Certification (non-negotiable)
DSP 1 & 2 Certifications
Some form of degree or higher education - AA, BS, BA +
This role requires a strong leader who can ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and compassionate care for residents.
Location: San Diego Area (La Mesa & El Cajon)
Salary: $70,000–$73,000 annually
