The Water Quality Program *within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a *Combined Funding Program Planner (Environmental Planner 4) position. This position is locatedin our *Headquarters Office in* *Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

 

Join our team in this senior role responsible for planning and implementing the annual funding cycle process that awards over $200 million in state and federal grants and loans annually to priority water quality protection and improvement projects across the state of Washington. In this dynamic position, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team to manage financial assistance for projects focused on wastewater, stormwater, and nonpoint source pollution abatement. You will develop and coordinate financial assistance program regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines for the Water Quality Combined Funding Program (WQC), which includes the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, Centennial Clean Water Program, Stormwater Financial Assistance Program, Section 319 Grant Program, and other fund sources that may be integrated with the WQC. To ensure funds are awarded to high-priority water quality improvement projects through an accountable and transparent process, you will guide and oversee the annual water quality combined funding cycle and the development of both draft and final funding offer lists.
