The Toxics Cleanup Program{rel="nofollow"} (TCP) within the Department of Ecology (Ecology) is looking to fill an Environmental Incident Investigator (Environmental Specialist 4) (In-Training) *position. This position is located in our *Southwest Region Office (SWRO) *in Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station. As the Environmental Incident Investigator, you'll be on the frontline in a field-focused and public-facing role, responding to reports of contamination. Through physical inspections, sampling, and data analysis, you'll be able to identify and address soil or water contamination impacts, implement Washington State's cleanup law, the Model Toxics Control Act{rel="nofollow"}. This position allows you to progress through the *Environmental Specialist (ES) field and achieve the goal class of an Environmental Specialist 4 (ES4).
