The Kelly Group is seeking an experiencedLaser Cutting System Operatorfor itsLafayette, Indiana, location. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of laser cutting experience.
This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:
Perform typical laser cutting, including program and stop location selection, beam adjustments, machine setup and equipment maintenance
Perform all dimensional inspections
Work at different fabrication workstations as production needs require
Stage materials to ensure materials and products are properly lifted and loaded
Demonstrate strong working knowledge of calipers, standard measuring devices and metric and imperial units
Ability to meet safety standards in appropriate rigging procedures
Ability to move parts throughout facility
Other preferred qualifications sought include:
Experience in steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing environment
Industrial construction experience
