- Support production by minimizing equipment downtime, providing prompt response times.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance and planned production equipment repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Perform minor tasks on electrical components such as sensors, fuses, breakers, etc.
- Follow safety policies and practices while maintaining Wabashs Leadership Principles and Values.
- The Maintenance Technician I position is expected to work 8 hours/day, including mandatory overtime and weekends.
- Ability to work on projects both individually and with a cross-functional team.
- Hours for this position vary based on the shift assigned.
- Perform other duties as needed or required.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Basic reading, writing, and verbal skills.
Prior experience with the following skills: Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electrical (24DC, 120/277/480AC) systems. Methodical problem solving to identify root cause of breakdowns.
Ability to work on projects both individually and cross functionally.
Must be capable of rapidly responding, adapting to changing and nonstandard situations, while remaining thorough and safety conscious during entire process.
Must have good mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools (power and hand), ability to make detailed measurements using instruments, including but not limited to, tape measures, micrometers, and dial calipers.
Experience using SAP and SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) is a plus
